Friendship Fortnight was a great success in our school. Each class worked hard on the themes of friendship and anti-bullying. We held a buddy lunch on Friday the 9th of October where the senior pupils buddied up with the junior classes to share lunch together and we all really enjoyed it.
Each class printed handprints in one of the colours of the rainbow and Elaine kindly displayed them for us. This beautiful rainbow represents the bonds of friendship in our school. Thank you to Elaine for all her hard work.
The Fortnight ended with an Assembly by 5th and 6th classes. They explained the importance of friendship and gave us a recipe for a good friend. We all joined together to sing "You can count on me" and everyone wore something yellow to symbolise friendship.
